Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and PT Parvela Indonesia ("Parvela", "we", "us") as the operator of the Parvela dating app.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Parvela services in any form, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not permitted to use Parvela services.

User Eligibility

To use Parvela, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age
• Be single or legally divorced
• Not be in a marriage or other exclusive commitment
• Have an active Indonesian phone number that can be verified
• Never have been blocked or banned from the Parvela platform before
• Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Indonesian law

By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above requirements.

Account Registration

When creating a Parvela account, you are responsible for:

• Providing information that is accurate, current, and truthful — including your real name, actual photos of yourself, and correct profile information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and not sharing them with anyone
• Immediately notifying us if unauthorized access to your account occurs
• Not creating more than one active account at a time
• Not creating an account on behalf of another person or using a false identity

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Identity Verification

Parvela requires face verification through a selfie video for all users before their profile can be seen by other users. This process aims to:

• Ensure every profile is a real person (not a bot or fake account)
• Prevent misuse of other people's identities
• Maintain the quality and safety of the Parvela community

By undergoing the verification process, you consent to the limited processing of your facial verification data solely for identity verification purposes. See Privacy Policy §1 for more details.

Prohibited Behavior

To maintain the safety and comfort of all users, the following activities are strictly prohibited on the Parvela platform:

Violations of these provisions may result in suspension or permanent account deletion without prior notice, as well as reporting to the authorities if necessary.

User Content

You retain rights to the content you upload (photos, bio, messages). However, by uploading content to Parvela, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Store, display, and distribute your content to other users according to the app's functions
• Use your content anonymously for analytics and service improvement purposes
• Remove content that violates these Terms

You are fully responsible for the content you upload and warrant that:

• Photos used are of yourself
• Content does not violate copyright, privacy, or other third-party rights
• Content does not contain pornography, violence, or illegal material

Parvela reserves the right to remove content deemed to violate these Terms without notice.

Guardian Feature

The Guardian feature allows family members (guardians) to assist in the partner search process for their family members. Guardian users are subject to the following additional provisions:

• Guardians must obtain explicit consent from the family member they are assisting before using this feature
• Guardians can only recommend profiles — the final decision is entirely in the hands of the respective user
• Guardians are prohibited from accessing other users' accounts without authorization or making decisions without the knowledge of the assisted party
• Abuse of the Guardian feature, including coercion or undue pressure, constitutes a serious violation of these Terms

Premium Services & Payment

Parvela offers both free and paid (premium) features. Payment terms:

• All transactions are processed through official payment gateways authorized for the Indonesian market
• Prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) and include applicable taxes
• Premium subscriptions are automatically renewed unless canceled before the renewal date
• Subscription cancellation does not result in a refund for the period already used, unless required by law
• In-app purchases (boosts, super likes) are final and non-refundable

For payment disputes, contact us at billing@parvela.id within 30 days of the transaction.

Account Termination

Deletion by User: You can delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Suspension by Parvela: We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms or the Privacy Policy
• You engage in behavior that harms other users or the platform
• Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months
• We are required to do so by law or order of competent authority

After account deletion, you lose access to all features, connections, and chat history. Your data will be deleted in accordance with the provisions in the Privacy Policy §5.

Limitation of Liability

Parvela is not responsible for:

• Meetings or interactions outside the app between users
• Losses arising from inaccurate information provided by other users
• Service disruptions caused by force majeure, maintenance, or factors beyond our control
• Data loss due to user device failure
• Financial or personal decisions made based on interactions on the platform

In any case, Parvela's total liability to you does not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the last 3 months.

We strongly recommend users to always be cautious when sharing personal information and meeting in person at safe public places.

Intellectual Property Rights

All elements of the Parvela platform — including brand names, logos, interface designs, application code, matching algorithms, and text — are the intellectual property of PT Parvela Indonesia and are protected by Indonesian copyright law and applicable international agreements.

You are not permitted to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute platform elements without written permission
• Perform reverse engineering on the application
• Use the Parvela name or brand for commercial purposes without a license
• Create derivative works based on our platform

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved through:

1. Negotiation — the parties endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably within 30 days of the dispute arising
2. Mediation — if negotiation fails, the dispute is resolved through mediation at the Indonesian Mediation Board
3. Court — if mediation does not result in an agreement, the dispute is resolved through the South Jakarta District Court

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through:

• In-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect
• Updating the "Last updated" date on this page
• Email notification for changes that significantly impact user rights

If you do not agree to the changes, you have the right to delete your account before the effective date of the changes. Continued use of the service after the effective date is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.
