Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and PT Parvela Technology Labs ("Parvela", "we", "us") as the operator of the Parvela dating app.

By creating an account, accessing, or using Parvela services in any form, you represent that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you are not permitted to use Parvela services.

User Eligibility

To use Parvela, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 18 (eighteen) years of age
• Be legally single and not currently married or in another exclusive romantic relationship
• Complete Parvela's identity verification process (see §4)
• Not currently be blocked or banned from the Parvela platform
• Be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Indonesian law

By using this service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the above requirements.

Account Registration

When creating a Parvela account, you are responsible for:

• Providing information that is accurate, current, and truthful — including your real name, actual photos of yourself, and correct profile information
• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and not sharing them with anyone
• Immediately notifying us if unauthorized access to your account occurs
• Not creating more than one active account at a time
• Not creating an account on behalf of another person or using a false identity

You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

Identity Verification

Parvela requires every user to complete a face verification selfie video as part of the registration process. This process aims to:

• Ensure every profile is a real person (not a bot or fake account)
• Prevent misuse of other people's identities
• Maintain the quality and safety of the Parvela community

By undergoing the verification process, you consent to the limited processing of your selfie video and related verification information solely for identity verification purposes. See Privacy Policy §1 for more details.

Community Guidelines

To maintain the safety and comfort of all users, Parvela expects every member to follow these community standards.

Expected Behavior

Prohibited Behavior

The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Parvela platform:

Violations of these provisions may result in suspension or permanent account deletion without prior notice, as well as reporting to the authorities if necessary.

User Content

You retain rights to the content you upload (photos, bio, messages). However, by uploading content to Parvela, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

• Store, process, display, and make your content available to other users as necessary to operate and provide the app's features
• Use your content anonymously for analytics and service improvement purposes
• Remove content that violates these Terms

You are fully responsible for the content you upload and warrant that:

• Photos used are of yourself
• Content does not violate copyright, privacy, or other third-party rights
• Content does not contain pornography, violence, or illegal material

Parvela reserves the right to remove content deemed to violate these Terms without notice.

Promotions, Payments & Refunds

Parvela offers free features. From time to time, eligible users may receive promotional access to certain premium features through promo or redeem codes issued by Parvela.

• Promotional access is valid only for the duration stated at the time of redemption.
• Event registration fees are collected by Parvela through payment methods or channels communicated by Parvela during the registration process. Parvela sells access to events offered through the platform on its own behalf; event hosts/organizers are independent partners compensated separately by Parvela and do not have a direct claim to individual participant payments. Prices are displayed in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Applicable taxes, if any, will be communicated as required by applicable law.
• If you cancel your own event registration or do not attend the event, the registration fee is non-refundable, unless required by applicable law.
• If Parvela or the event organizer cancels an event, all users who have paid a registration fee for that event will receive a full refund of their registration fee. Refunds will be initiated as soon as reasonably practicable and, in any event, within 30 business days. Refunds will generally be processed using the same payment method or channel used at registration, where reasonably possible.

For payment disputes, contact us at support@parvela.app within 30 days of the transaction.

Account Termination

Deletion by User: You can delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Suspension by Parvela: We reserve the right to suspend or delete your account, with or without notice, if:

• You violate these Terms or the Privacy Policy
• You engage in behavior that harms other users or the platform
• Your account has been inactive for more than 24 months
• We are required to do so by law or order of competent authority

After account deletion, you lose access to all features, connections, and chat history. Your data will be deleted in accordance with the provisions in the Privacy Policy §5.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Parvela is not responsible for:

• Losses, damages, fraud, scams, financial transactions, agreements, or arrangements made directly between users — including where an interaction that started on Parvela continues on another app, by phone, or in person
• Meetings or interactions between users that occur outside the app
• Losses arising from inaccurate information provided by other users
• Service disruptions caused by force majeure, maintenance, or factors beyond our control
• Data loss due to user device failure
• Financial or personal decisions made based on interactions on the platform

In any case, and except to the extent such limitation cannot be excluded under applicable law, Parvela's total liability to you does not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the last 3 months.

We strongly recommend users to always be cautious — never send money to someone you haven't met in person, verify claims independently, and always choose safe public places when meeting in person.

Intellectual Property Rights

All elements of the Parvela platform — including brand names, logos, interface designs, application code, matching algorithms, and text — are the intellectual property of PT Parvela Technology Labs and are protected by Indonesian copyright law and applicable international agreements.

You are not permitted to:

• Copy, reproduce, or distribute platform elements without written permission
• Perform reverse engineering on the application
• Use the Parvela name or brand for commercial purposes without a license
• Create derivative works based on our platform

Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms will be resolved through:

1. Negotiation — the parties endeavor to resolve the dispute amicably within 30 days of the dispute arising
2. Further Resolution — if the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, either party may pursue mediation or other dispute resolution mechanisms available under applicable Indonesian law
3. Litigation — unresolved disputes may be brought before the competent district court in Indonesia

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and where we consider a change material, we will make reasonable efforts to bring it to your attention, such as through an in-app notice.

If you do not agree to the changes, you have the right to delete your account. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect is deemed acceptance of the updated Terms.
